Communal Cremation - Partitioned Cremation - Private Cremation - Equine Cremation - Viewing & Visitation - Specialty Services

Keeping the memory of your pet close to your heart, a communal cremation offers both peace of mind and solace. With communal cremation, your pet is gently placed into the crematory together with other pets. These cremated remains are not returned to the family. When the cremation process is complete, the communal remains are collected and will be scattered in a private, natural setting. Visitation for communal cremations cannot be accommodated.

Because no cremated remains are returned to you when you choose a communal cremation, you may wish to consider one of our personalized memorial paw prints as a timeless remembrance.

Partitioned cremation provides you with the opportunity to keep your pet’s cremated remains as a permanent and personal keepsake. When you choose partitioned cremation, your treasured pet is placed into the crematory and separated from the other pets with partitions. When the cremation process is complete, we ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet.

Your pet’s cremated remains will be returned to your veterinary hospital or ready for you to take home from our memorial center in your selected urn. Discover the variety of urn options available.

Private cremation provides you with the opportunity to keep your pet’s cremated remains as a permanent and personal keepsake. When you choose private cremation, your treasured pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. When the cremation process is complete, we ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet.

Homeward Bound offers a wide variety of memorial products. Making a decision regarding memorial products is a personal process. These items may reflect the life you shared with your pet, your personal style or possibly reflect your pet’s unique personality. Please take a moment to review our Memorial Products.

Your pet’s cremated remains will be returned in your selected urn, along with a certificate of cremation, authenticating that your pet was cremated at Homeward Bound.

We have equipment with which we can provide cremation for horses and other large farm pets. With our specialized crematory, we are able to offer intact, whole body cremation for your equine friend. Because of their size, horses are generally cremated by themselves in the crematory. If needed, we can arrange transportation of your horse from your location to our facility.

We have a choice of urns and other memorial items available.

Sometimes, being close to your pet as you say your goodbye is an important part of the grieving process. For pet owners who prefer to say goodbye to their cherished pet in a private setting with family and close friends, Homeward Bound offers the opportunity for a Viewing & Visitation service.

Our Viewing & Visitation is a time for gathering together in ceremony to share a meaningful goodbye – to grieve, to celebrate and to remember a faithful companion. Whether your wish is for a quiet, reflective memorial or a joyful tribute, we will help you make these arrangements in a warm and supportive environment.

Our serene rooms are also available for on-site euthanasia. Families may choose to meet their regular veterinarian at our center or one of our staff will assist in making the arrangements with your preferred veterinary clinic.

Regardless of your pet’s size, Homeward Bound Pet Memorial Center and Crematorium offers transportation to our facility from your veterinary hospital or clinic.

House Calls
We are proud to offer a house call service to assist pet-families in their time of need. We ensure that this service is provided in a discreet and respectful manner. Please contact our office for details and rates.

Video Certification
A video certification of your pet’s private cremation is provided for those who are unable to attend the service due to time or distance constraints. The video is filmed using high-resolution video monitors that time code and record the area directly in front of the crematory from the time the body is placed into the crematory until the cremated remains are removed from the cremation chamber. This will assure the family that the pet was cremated by itself and these are the remains of only that pet. To inquire about this service, please call and speak with one of our aftercare consultants.
